The crazy 2020 has everyone looking forward to better days. You can play a starring role in how things work out for you next year. I'm reminded of the first 13 words of Charles Dickens' David Copperfield: "Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life..." This Friday5 is on how to be great. Read my article titled, Top 10 Excuses for Not Being Great. Let me know if you'd like to re-purpose it in your newsletter or online. Watch the video here or below.
Greatness is in your future!
Get energized - Fatigue is a deal killer. Being tired and dispirited all the time is not normal. Eat better and get good quality sleep to ensure that you're ready for your great new year!
Sir Paul McCartney, now 78 years old, has a freakish amount of energy. Macca used his Covid months to play all the instruments on his new album. #BeLikePaul
Get (more) confident - Sometimes greatness is delayed due to a lack of confidence. Guess what? Confidence can be learned. Pro tip: Hang around with people who believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Get proactive - If you're middle-aged, this unusual half-time show will be ending soon and it'll be time to get after it. Schedule greatness on your calendar and keep the appointment. Note: Being great usually involves a sales pitch--to others or to yourself.
Here's to your upcoming success
And remember the words of author and speaker, Zig Ziglar: You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.
